We are a group of volunteers producing an interactive, cross-media and massively multiplayer game this summer to raise funding and awareness of the work of Cancer Research UK. We won a competition to design a game for the charity earlier this year and now have a team of people ranging from web-designers to video producers working hard to make this game a unique phenomenon both as a game and as a fundraising effort.

I too have these problems, and it seems to depend on where i am. In my place, most of the time the connection works. But sometime it may seem to work but i cant get anywhere with firefox - skype almost always works in these situations. Maybe some network/linux pro can help?
